Demszky’s motion
The Capital’s General Assembly decided back in September that this year the American businessman George Soros, Agárdi Gábor actor and Kertész Ákos writer should be awarded the title Citizen of Honor of Budapest.
Mayor Demszky Gábor then proposed that Kertész Imre be awarded the same title after he received the Nobel Prize on October 10-th from the Swedish Royal Academy. His motion was supported by more than 20 delegates among them many of the opposition.

Soros could get 2 years in prison is the title of an article in the daily Magyar Nemzet reporting on charges of illegal speculation raised against the wealthy financier living oversees for the past 50 years.

on charges of ‘insider trading’.
Because French law takes this type of speculation very
seriously a hard verdict is expected.
To be noted is the fact that Soros stood up for the permission of ‘light drugs’ on a referendum held in a few American states.
